Kelly hails from a fifth-generation family farm south of Waco, Nebraska. The West Blue Township was an original precinct within York County dating back to 1865, named for the nearby West Fork of the Big Blue River that provided power for corn and flour mills in the area. Like his ancestors, the trials of heartland life bestowed a healthy work ethic and respect for family and community on Kelly. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with Education and Business Administration degrees in 2000 before obtaining his law degree from the UNL College of Law in 2003.

Around Lincoln, Kelly is a highly active community member. In varying capacities, he’s involved with Christ Lutheran Church, Lutheran Education Foundation, Nebraska Bar Association, Lincoln Children’s Museum as an executive board member, Lincoln Estate Planning Council, and the University of Nebraska Alumni Association. In his fleeting spare time, Kelly counts himself as both an avid Husker fan and an outdoorsman – fishing, golfing, hiking, farming, yard work and jogging. He and his wife, Angie, are proud owners of a busy home thanks to their three children Ethan, Liam, and Grace.

West Blue provides diligent, hard-working representation for buyers, sellers, movers, and everyone in-between. No matter what point in the process you find yourself in, Kelly can provide the helping hand at each step of the way.
